I know. Capcom jumped the shark with Resident Evil. First time, is when they had Umbrella collapsed abruptly after Raccoon City was destroyed and then killing off Wesker in an underwhelming manner.
Wesker was better off kingpinning his empire with the Umbrella Archives he gathered from the Caucasus laboratory instead of getting into that whole Uroboros plot that cost him his life.
